X-marks - why so flakey? on the one hand you let me use the same bookmarks across 2 computers. on the other, sometimes they sync, sometimes not, sometimes - per below screenshot from my toolbar (where i prefer to keep ALL my bookmarks) - i get things doubled up.

if you use parallels on a Mac to run QUickbooks in Windows and u r upgrading to Parallels 8 you will want to read this. otherwise, there is nothing here for you.

you know what blows? lack of documentation for known problems. having to figure it out yourself…all while being led to believe its all “easy”. ya..sure.

once I upgraded from P6 to P8 and got Quickbooks open, i discovered that the PDF printing no longer worked.

let me save you the same hassle i had.

if this happens to you you need to run go here:

Use solution #1.

hint: I use Quickbooks Pro. eg NONE of the listed flavours, so once i downloaded and ran the utility (btw, i downloaded on the Mac side, but ran it on the windows side) i chose “enterprise 2012”. the utility ran for about 10 minutes, then viola….my PDG PRINTING was back.

then i wondered aloud why i couldnb’t simply search Twitter for “Quickbooks PDF Parallels 8 fix” to find this info. and for that reason, that’s exactly what i’m about to do now.

hoping this works for you if you had the same problem…and it didn’t take you the 2 hours it took me. ugh.
